Atlanta Locally Grown:  Available for Saturday May 31

Yes, the market is open. Sorry for the delay. We had an exciting graduation party for my two sons yesterday. We had a nice pig roast, with lots of fresh veggies and a huge cake.
We were able to get our pigs to the processor last week and get them picked back up. So we have lots and lots of fresh pork. We have everything from ground pork, hot and mild sausage, ribs, thick and thin sliced ham, shoulder roast and more. The bacon takes an additional 10 days so look for that later.
With the temps rising we will see the greens start to drop off so order up.

Thank you all for your support. We appreciate every order. I ask that you please remember when you order I pay the farmers for their products. If you don’t pick up it cost me, not the farmer.
The market is open from Monday to Wednesday and pick up is on the following Saturday at your selected market; Brookhaven Farmers Market, Piedmont Green Market or the Sandy Springs Farmers Market.

Thank you all for your support,
Brady

South Cumberland Farmer's Market:  Memorial Day Mushrooms

Happy Memorial Day. After weeks of having more mushroom orders than I had mushrooms, I suddenly have the opposite problem. My mushrooms picked this week to fruit and I have exactly 2 1/2 lbs left for sale. There is an hour and a half left for ordering from the market so if you want shiitake mushrooms, visit the website now. Thanks.

DeForest, WI:  Availability for Week of May 26

Happy Memorial Day. Please take a moment to remember those that have given the ultimate sacrifice and their families that have given so much too.

Since the weather has maybe moved towards late spring, the Market has added some new plants that will benefit from the warmer weather.

Salad fixings continue too along with Rusty Dog coffee.

What a way to start a day, a fresh cup of coffee and a scrambled egg dish with sauteed onions, kale, tatsoi and spinach!

Martin's Farmstand:  May 25

The online farmers market is open for orders. New for this week is the first outside lettuce and green onions. We are in the prime of asparagus season. Asparagus has about 3 weeks left yet. The strawberries are starting to bloom. In one month we should be into lots of ripe berries.
Both the cucumbers and zucchini in the greenhouse have half grown fruit on them. They should be ready next week. Tomatoes also have fullsize fruit; they are still green though. The greenhouses are about 7-10 days behind normal schedule. I am pretty happy with this as we had a long, cold, cloudy winter. It could be worse. God has promised seedtime and harvest, summer and winter- He is reliable. Daniel

Princeton Farm Fresh:  The Market is Open!

Happy Memorial Day! What a beautiful day it is going to be. I hope that you will take time today to honor the military veterans in your life. For us this is a special holiday, a time to remember family members that served our great nation, but also a day to honor our husband and father Ray that still serves in the Army. It is easy to forget that these men and women give the ultimate sacrifice of their lives to protect our freedom. We have been fortunate that Ray has only had to go overseas once, but I know that other families struggle time and time again as their loved ones serve. Many lose the ones that they love, either physically or through the emotional trauma that war so often causes.
I would ask on this day that you not only remember the veterans but also the current soldiers serving and there families that give so much to our great nations freedom.
Have a great day – See you Thursday!
